Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, followed by a "MOD." choke marking, with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN JAPAN" marked on the right. Sides of the receiver feature scroll engraving on a matte background, with the left side featuring a scene of a gold inlaid flushing grouse and 2 bird dogs, and with the right side featuring a scene of 4 gold inlaid flying mallard. Metal components exhibit a lustrous blue finish overall, save for on the mag. tube, which exhibits a matte blue finish. Bolt is polished in-the-white. High grade checkered wood pump and blued steel capped pistol grip stock with black synthetic Browning buttplate. Grooved matte rib with aluminum bead front sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory cardboard box. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finishes, exhibiting some very light wear on the mag. tube from cycling of the action. Mirror bore, exhibiting a thin layer of apparent factory grease. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains very good overall. Box shows mild exterior wear and a hole on the lid, but otherwise remains sound.
